We take great pride in what we do and strive to always use fresh product. Your florals should last 5 days-Some blooms may not last as long, other will last longer, this is a normal and natural and all part of the beauty of flowers. The care your flowers receive will have a direct impact ontheir freshness and longeivity. If you are dissatisfied with the longevity or quality of your florals, we must be emailed within 2 days, with photos to info@nectareandroot.com, for a credit request to be considered. We take what we do seriously, and are very passionate about it, however there are some variable that are out of our control. We always welcome your comments and inquiries,and we thank you for shopping local and suporting small business.
Taxes are based on prevailing rates in the area of our store location.

We reserve the right to call the recpient prior to delivery.
Recipient will be Contacted: We will call before sending out an arrangment to ensure that the recpient will be home, and expecting us. With so many delievry services its important your recipient know that our delivery is coming and is a package that requires care and attention. We do our very best to preserve any suprise, however it is very time consuming and expensive to try repeat delivery attempts, and more importantly it is hard on the flowers, especially in inclimate weather.
Same day delivery cannot be guarnteed, it is dependent on many factors such as avaibility of clients and time frames. Out of town orders require extra coordination and must be confirmed by a ceratin time to send out.
Request to Leave Item at Door: The customer assumes all liability for requests to leave arrangements. We** highly discourage **special instructions requesting delivery to a doorstep, porch, yard or any location where the recipient cannot accept the arrangement themselves. We cannot be held responsible for missing or faulty product due to this special request.
Funeral arrangements typically require additional lead-time. If your sympathy or funeral order requires delivery at a specific time of day, please try to let us know several days in advance so we can best accommodate your needs. Sunday deliveries may not always be available.
Delivery to Hospitals
We are experienced at making deliveries to hospitals. When placing your order, please be sure to include the hospital name and telephone number, the name of the recipient and room number or ward of the recipient. We will send your gift bouquet in accordance with facility procedures, as most hospitals do not allow florists to personally deliver to individual rooms. Please note that many ICU patients are not permitted to receive flowers. Please check with the hospital before placing your order.
Substitution Policy
Fresh Flowers: We are committed to delivering your important emotional sentiments on time and as fresh and beautiful as possible. Because of the nature, seasonality, and regional availability of flowers it is sometimes necessary to make substitutions of equal or greater value. We will make every effort to maintain the "look and feel" of the arrangement by considering the overall shape, size, style, and color combinations. In single-variety arrangements, the variety will take precedence over color. For instance, if an order is for yellow daisies, they will substitute another color of daisies, not another yellow flower. White roses and cream roses may be substituted for each other as well as peach roses and pink roses. Purple and pink orchids may need to be substituted for white orchids and visa versa.
Plants: For green and blooming plants, similar plants may be substituted of equal or greater value. For one-of-a-kind plants, such as orchids, we will make every attempt to match the plant type, but may substitute with another color. Containers for plants will be as close as possible. For any major substitions we will contact you before proceeding
Gift Baskets: Substitutions within a basket may be made with items of greater or equal value if necessary to guarantee freshness and timely delivery.
Substitutions for Special Occasions: Due to the importance of delivering orders for special occasions, such as funerals, birthdays, and anniversaries, on specific days, we may make a substitution of equal or greater value to ensure timely delivery, if the flowers you requested are not available, and we are not able to contact you via the phone number(s) or email address you provided us before we need to send the dellivery out.

Cancellations
To provide you with the best possible service, you can cancel your order at least 24 hours before delivery for store credit. Specail orders must be canceled 1 week in advance. iedate requested example request for specific colour, or flower varity.
